Yvonne Kingsbury Obituary
GILMANTON ; Yvonne R. (Randall) Kingsbury, 81, of Gilmanton died unexpectedly on Monday, April 27, 2009 at the Lakes Region General Hospital in Laconia.
Born March 21, 1928 in Foxborough, Mass., she was the daughter of the late Chester H. and Rose E. (Lange) Randall. She was educated in the Foxborough, Mass., public schools.
A former longtime resident of Medfield, Mass., she was a member of the Quinobequin Chapter 67, Order of the Eastern Star, and the Beckwith Post 110, American Legion Auxiliary.
She had been a Gilmanton resident since 1973.
Yvonne enjoyed knitting and quilting and was an avid bird-watcher. She got most of her enjoyment spending time with her grandchildren and great granddaughter.
She leaves her husband of almost 60 years, Allan A. Kingsbury, the retired chief of police of Medfield, Mass.; a daughter, Jacqueline L. Kingsbury; a son, Allan A. Kingsbury and his wife Bonnie, both of Gilmanton; a brother, Bruce Randall of California; grandchildren, Naomi Searles and her husband Nathan, and Allan A.G. Kingsbury; and a great granddaughter, Erilyn Searles.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 2, 2009, at 1 p.m. at the Roberts-Mitchell Memorial Chapel, 15 Miller St., Medfield, Mass. Burial will follow at Vine Lake Cemetery, Medfield, Mass. Those wishing may visit with Yvonne's family at the funeral home on Saturday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Medfield Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 271, Medfield MA 02052.
