Zao Zhu Chiang Obituary
Born on March 3, 1928, in Shanghai, Zao Zhu lived a life devoted to her family. After relocating to Guangdong Province, she married Bing Yao Jiang in 1947. In 1984, they immigrated to Brooklyn, where she continued to nurture her family and embrace her Buddhist faith. Zao Zhu found immense joy in caring for her grandchildren and cherished playing Mahjong with her loved ones.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Bing Yao Jiang, in 2009, as well as her four brothers in China and her sister in Vancouver.
Zao Zhu is survived by her nine children, nineteen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild, all of whom were a source of great pride and joy for her.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 16, at Wan Shou Funeral Home, located at 1275 65th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11219. Visitation hours are scheduled from 9:30 to 11:30 AM, followed by burial at Lake Nelson Memorial Park Association in Piscataway, NJ.
Zao Zhu Chiang will be remembered for her unwavering dedication to her family and her gentle spirit. Her legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire those who knew her.
