Christopher Moore Obituary
He was born Nov. 24, 1980, in Ann Arbor to Randy W. and Cindylou C. (Hertler) Moore. On Oct. 17, 2008, Chris married Kory Leigh Brooks in Mount Clemens, Mich., and she survives.
Chris was employed by the Center for Forensic Psychiatry as a forensic security aide. His many hobbies and interests included bowling, golfing, hunting, playing with his children, cooking and creating delicious meals on his smoker, driving his "White Whale" truck with his dog, Abby, taking long rides, listening to music with his wife, especially artist Eric Church, podcasts and playing pinochle. He also was a devoted Detroit Lions fan and MSU Spartans fan.
Surviving Chris, in addition to his wife, Kory, are two sons, Cash and Connor Moore at home; his parents, Randy and Cindy Moore of Tawas, Mich.; father-in-law and mother-in-law, David and Elaine Brooks of St. Clair, Mich.; a brother-in-law, Kristopher Brooks of Lansing and his many friends who were like brothers and sisters to him.
Also surviving are his two fur babies, Abby and Rory. Chris was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents.
Visitation for Christopher will be held on Friday, April 23, 2021, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Anderson-Rudd Funeral Home, Blissfield with the funeral following at 3 p.m. with Sam Van Sickle officiating. Cremation will follow.
A wake will be held following the service on Friday at Chris and Kory's home. Please bring time capsule items for a time capsule to be buried for Cash and Connor.
In lieu of flowers, please consider giving in Christopher's memory to Kory to assist in raising Cash and Connor by going online at www.andersonfuneralservices.com. Envelopes are also available at Anderson-Rudd Funeral Home, Blissfield.

Dear Chris,
Today has come, and I never thought that you would go before me. You
meant the world to me, and I really mean it. I knew you for over twenty years, and boy did that time fly by fast. We had some funny things happen at work!
Chris, you were a good man to your wife and your two boys. I can't imagine the heartache and overwhelming sadness they must be experiencing.
I only wish you had more time, Chris. Time to be with your family and other friends. I told you at you funeral how much I loved you, and I meant it. Now, you are happily presiding with the Lord at His meal.

My condolences to the family. My prayers and thoughts of peace are with you. I had the pleasure of working with Chris at the Forensic Center, and he was my GOLF!!!! TUTOR!!!! LOL!!! He would always say Jones don't hit the ball like a baseball. Keep your eye on the ball, and your stance need some work. I had fun, but needless to say, I'm not a good golfer, I'll just stick to what I know. Playing the guitar. Lol!!! I'm going miss our talks about life. I was very proud of Chris when I heard that he was getting married. I was even more proud when became a father. My God son rest in peace!!!!
