Janet Anderson Obituary
She was born Dec. 31, 1933, in Dover Township to Clyde and Gweneth (Dalton) Baker. She was married to William Anderson on Nov. 29, 1952, in Adrian and he preceded her in death on Nov. 9, 2014. She had lived in Clayton for 46 years, moving to Adrian in 1980. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Adrian, and the Lenawee Area Ostomy Association. Janet had worked for Spielman's for 15 years. She then worked at the Anderson Funeral Home for 30 years greeting families and decorating for Christmas. Janet enjoyed gospel music and going to the Gospel Barn in Hillsdale.
Janet is survived by two sons, Michael Anderson of Adrian and Mark (Cindy) Anderson of Clayton; two daughters, Monica (Doug) Betz of Adrian and Suzanne (Chip) Fleming of Fountain Hills, Ariz.; three brothers, Dale Baker of Tarpon Springs, Fla.; Chuck "Spanky" (Molly) Baker of Adrian and David (Dorothy) Rickaby of Adrian; two sisters, Mary (Kenton) Swartz of Adrian and Ginny Baker of Adrian; sister-in-law, Brenda Baker of Medina; three grandchildren, Heidi Anderson, Joshua Anderson and Amber Betz; and three great-grandchildren, Coltin Gerth, Henley Milliman and Nate Anderson; and many generations of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, Bill, Janet was preceded in death by her mother and father; two brothers, James and John; and a grandson, Brandon Betz.
Funeral services for Janet will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 4, 2018, with visitation from 10 to 10:45 a.m., at St. John's Lutheran Church, Adrian, with Pastor Joel Sarrault officiating. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will also take place from 2 until 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 3, 2018, at Anderson-Marry Funeral Home, Adrian.

So sorry to hear this news. Janet was a lovely person. Always so kind and warm. I remember when she worked at Spielman's with my Father-in-Law and Husband, One very talented lady. Heaven truly gained another angel. Prayers offered for the family for comfort during this difficult time.

So sorry for your loss. Janet was one of the best friends my aunt Jean had. I have known Janet since I was a child. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Janet has definitely left her mark on the world in a wonderful, loving way. Our sympathy goes out to her family.
