ALBERT RUTECKI
LIMA — Albert E. Rutecki III, 50, of Lima, passed away at 6:45 AM on Monday, August 31, 2015 at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
He was born on May 10, 1965 in Buffalo, NY to Albert and Norma (Nutty) Rutecki, who both preceded him in death.
Al was a 1983 graduate of Shawnee High School. He formerly worked at Sodexo as a lift mechanic. He was a member of the Lima Area Browns Backers and the Syracuse (Onondawga) Browns Backers. He was a huge fan of the Cleveland Browns and his wishes were to have casual dress for visitation. Please wear Cleveland Brown's attire if you are a fan!
Surviving are his siblings René (Joe) Koenig and Tina (Bruce) Bradshaw both of Lima, Sandy (Bill) Paben of Cazenovia, NY, Jody Kenny of Liverpool, NY, Angel Plessner of Bryan, OH, Todd (Lark) Rutecki of Rensselair, NY, Andrea Klopfenstein of Paulding, OH, Allan Norfolk of Los Angeles, CA, Lynn Daugherty of Atlanta, GA; He is also survived by a son Evan Neeld of Lima and is a family friend of Bill W.
He was preceded in death by a sister Marietta Rutecki and his grandparents Fred and Elizabeth Nutty.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at CHILES-LAMAN FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, EASTSIDE CHAPEL.
Funeral services will follow immediately after the visitation at 6:00 PM.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Association.
