BOTKINS — David J. Steinke, 74, died at 5:45 p.m. Sept. 14, 2107 ,at his residence.
Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Botkins. The Rev. Patrick Sloneker will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home, 1102 Lincoln Ave. (state Route 501) Wapakoneta.

this is late, however only today discovered this sad news.
I remember kindly of Dave during our 9th and 10th grade at Botkins, before I joined the Navy in 1959.

Sorry to hear the news. Dave was my friend growing up in Botkins. In the summer we would ride our bikes to the Wapak pool to swim. We were in the same BHS graduating class. See ya later on the Hardin-Wapak Pike.
