PORT CLINTON -- Dean M. Fisher, 51, of Port Clinton, OH passed away Saturday, September 7, 2024 at Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky, OH. He was born August 10, 1973 in Lima, OH the son of Michael and Connie (Huff)
Fisher.
Dean graduated from Continental High School in 1991 and served his country in the United States Army. He married Dawn Blackford on June 5, 1998. Dean was a forklift driver for Heintz in Fremont, Ohio for 25 years. He enjoyed golfing, playing board games with his brothers and he was an avid Cleveland Baseball, Detroit Baseball and The Ohio State Buckeyes fan. He enjoyed playing with his pets.
Surviving are his wife: Dawn; sons: Joshua Fisher of Port Clinton, Ashton Fisher of Washington, D.C.; parents: Michael and Connie Fisher of Continental; brothers: Dan Fisher of Findlay, OH, Eric (Julia) Fisher of Miamisburg, OH, Jason (Jennifer) Fisher of Defiance, OH; mother-in-law: Theresa Blackford of Marblehead; sister-in-law: Heather (Andrew) Zisko of Maumee and Tamara Blackford of Marblehead; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Veran and Marjorie Fisher, Clarence and Goldie Huff; father-in-law: Robley Blackford, Sr.; brother-in-law: Robley Blackford, Jr.; great-nephew: Mitchell Diehl.
Visitation will be held Saturday, September 14, 2024 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at Neidecker, Crosser & Priesman Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1124 Fulton St. Port Clinton, OH.
Memorial contributions may be given to Stein Hospice, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH 44870.
