WOLVERINE, Mich. — Dennis L. Croft, 74 of Wolverine, MI passed away on Oct 18, 2018 at Hiland Cottage Hospice in Petoskey, MI.
Dennis was born on April 4, 1944 to Robert and Donna (Ross) Croft in Lima, Ohio. Dennis was a native of Spencerville, Ohio. Dennis was a business owner, musician, and school bus superintendent for Wolverine Schools. On August 17, 2007 he married Patty (Mattson) Croft. Dennis enjoyed family, friends, trains, playing in bands, and taking pictures. He was a member of the Baptist Church of Wolverine, the Lions Club of Indian River, Wolverine Fire Department, and the Northern Michigan Train Club.
Dennis is survived by his wife Patty his children Bobbi (Scott) Osting Ottawa OH, Gary Croft Spencerville OH, Wes (Jodi) Croft Spencerville OH, Donna (Shawn) Powers Petoskey MI, Sara Michal Grand Blanc MI, Jessica (Brad) Williams Grand Rapids MI, and Chris Croft Grand Rapids MI, 18 grandchildren, a brother Ed (Darlene) Croft, 2 Aunts: Ruth Stewart and Sue Croft. He was preceded in death by his parents Bob and Donna Croft, Aunt Bonnie Whyman, 2 Uncles Jay Croft and Ted Croft.
Funeral services will take place on Friday, October 26th at the Wolverine Free Methodist Church, Wolverine Michigan. Visitation will begin at 11am with the funeral service at 1pm. Pastor Steve Evoy to officiate.
