LIMA — Diana L. Wilkins, 58, of Lima, passed away at 3:38 PM on Sunday, September 17, 2017 at Fawcett Memorial Hospital, Port Charlotte, FL.
She was born on January 9, 1959 in Lima to George A. and Sandra L. (McGrath) Shaw, Sr., who both preceded her in death. On October 28, 1988, she married Michael L. Wilkins, who preceded her in death on March 4, 2009.
Diana had worked as an assembler at the Lima Ford Engine Plant and retired this year. She was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose, Lodge 199, Lima and the UAW Local #1219. She enjoyed music, traveling and being on the beach, but above all she loved to have fun.
Surviving are her daughter Cassondra B. Wilkins of Lima; Kory R. Dyer of Harrod; her fiance Steve Shaw; her grandson Kadyn Dyer; her brother George A. (Kimberly) Shaw, Jr. of Ada; her sisters Kimberly Webster of Arizona and Debra K. Beemer of Lima; her father-in-law and mother-in-law Tom (Sue) Wilkins of Lima.
The family will receive friends on Monday, October 2, 2017 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at CHILES-LAMAN FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, SHAWNEE CHAPEL.
Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at 10:00 AM at CHILES-LAMAN FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, SHAWNEE CHAPEL with Pastor Chris Ewing, officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
