LIMA – Donna Jean Halker, 76, of Lima, died 11:35 a.m., Sunday, October 9, 2022 in Ottawa. She was born March 31, 1946, in Lima to the late Elmer E. and Louise H. (Kuhbander) Halker, Sr.
Survivors include eight siblings: Donald Halker, Sr. of Ottawa, Shirley Brown of Lima, Mary Wiener of Ottawa, Elmer Halker, Jr. of Pandora, Louis (Mary Ellen) Halker of Glandorf, Barbara Schroeder of Columbus Grove, Debbie (Charles) Seimet of Lakeview and Thomas (Patti) Halker of Columbus Grove; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters-in-law: Lillian Halker and Roberta Halker; and three brothers-in-law: Richard Brown, Edward Weiner and Cletus Schroeder.
Donna retired from Schnipke Inn, Ottawa. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary, Ottawa. Donna loved playing bingo, watching sports, attending mass and being her mother's caretaker.
A Memorial Mass for Donna will be held 9:00 a.m., Saturday, October 15, 2022 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa with Fr. Scott Kramer officiating. Burial will be at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association or a charity of the donor's choice. Condolences may be expressed at www.lovefuneralhome.com.
