SPENCERVILLE - Earl (Rocky/Squirrel) Lee Fast 65 of Spencerville, passed away on January 24th at St. Rita's in Lima Ohio surrounded by loved ones.
Earl was born in Spencerville Ohio on February 19th, 1956, he was the son of Harold Lee and Martha Helen also of Spencerville. He graduated from Spencerville High School in 1974. He was employed at General Dynamics for 36yrs and worked as a welder until he retired in 2014.
He was a long and faithful member of Only Believe Ministries in Botkins Ohio. He enjoyed fishing, camping, watching the Cleveland Browns and The Ohio State Buckeyes football, The Andy Griffith Show, any Western show, going to craft shows with Bev, spending time with family, and most of all TALKING ON THE PHONE! He will be remembered for never meeting a stranger and just having a big heart.
He is survived by his wife Beverly of 44 years of marriage, together they have 4 boys; Justin (Gina) Fast of Spencerville, Timothy (Mandy) Fast of Piqua, Andrew (Stacy) Fast of Spencerville, and Aaron Fast of Spencerville. Earl was a proud Pawpaw to 13 Grandchildren Xander, Mackenzie, Owen, Saije, Evan, Lorelai, Liam, Cora, Meadow, Calvin, Kiefer, Tristen, Trace and 3 great-grandchildren Bexlee, Berklee, and Roxzen who he loved very much and many nieces and nephews. His siblings Bill (Linda) Fast, Philip (Sandra) Fast, Teri (Bob) Wierwille, Pat (Ronnie) Lee, Peggy (Jerry) Seibert, and in-law siblings Mike (Beth) Wechta, Linda (Tom) Leidel, Mark (Kathy) Wechta, Brenda (Bill) Schimpf. He was proceeded in death by his parents Harold and Martha Fast and one brother Robert Fast.
The family will receive friends and family on Saturday, January 26th, 2022 from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm and Funeral services will follow at 5:00 pm at the Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.

To the entire Fast family, I knew and worked with Earl from his Sheller Globe days all thru his General Dynamics career. He was a good and honest man. I am very sorry for your loss.
