LIMA - Franklin "Frank" H. Mack, 75, passed away at 12:55 p.m. on Friday, August 8, 2025, at Mercy Health St. Rita's.
Frank was born on March 17, 1950, in Lima, to the late William and Viola Margaret (Jones) Mack. On September 28, 1974, he married Stacia Ann (Sarno) Mack, who survives in Lima.
Frank was a 1968 graduate of Elida High School. He then went on to earn his associate degree at Northwestern Business College. Frank also served in the Army National Guard for 6 years as a combat engineer. He enjoyed his profession in home improvement sales at Ellis Door & Windows, and Sears & Roebuck. In his free time, he enjoyed detailing cars and watching sprint car racing. Frank played trumpet in a band called "Spanish Brass" and also for the Elida Alumni Band. He dearly loved his grandchildren and going to their sporting events.
He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Mack-Prendergast of Lebanon, Ohio; son, William "B.J" (Sarah) Mack of Lima, Ohio; grandchildren: Noah Prendergast and Norah Prendergast of Lebanon, Alayna Mack, Katelyn Mack and Addison Mack all of Lima; brother Patrick Mack of Harrod; and sister-in-law, Deborah Mack of Lima.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, James Mack.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Thursday, August 14, 2025, at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, Ohio. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. Lay Minister David Belton will officiate. Burial will be at Pike Run Cemetery, in Gomer, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Arrangements handled by Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home.
