LIMA -- James Willard Dudley, 87, of Celebration, Florida, formerly of Lima, went home to be with the Lord on July 9th. He had been in poor health for several years. Jim was a college teacher of Anatomy and Physiology for 32 years at Lima Technical College in Lima, Ohio. When the family moved to Florida, Jim taught at Manatee Community College, Edison State Community College, and Valencia Community College for 18 years, making a total of 50 years of teaching. Jim was a graduate of The Ohio State University in 1959, and loved the Buckeyes. He also went on to earn his Master's Degree in 1965 from Purdue University. Jim is survived by his wife of 65 years, Jo Ann Dudley; son David Allen Dudley (Beth); son Daniel James Dudley (Karen); son-in-law Michael Tschanz (Cathy); and 9 grandchildren, Hayley (Eric), Jaimey, Carley, Jackson (Katie), Carson, Sydney, Jon (Austin), Jason (Alicia), and Jacqueline, and one great grandchild, Avery. Jim was preceded in death by his daughter, Diane Sue Dudley Tschanz; his brother Richard Dudley, and sister-in-law Myrna Dudley. Also preceded in death by his father, Willard Dudley, and his mother, Lillian Dudley. A Service of Celebration will be held Saturday, July 30, at 11:00 a.m. at Community Presbyterian Church, 511 Celebration Avenue, in Celebration, FL 34747. The service will be performed by Dr. Rev. William Lewis, and Jim's final resting place will be in the church's Columbarium and Memorial Courtyard. James Dudley December 24, 1934 - July 9, 2022

Mr.Dudley was my Professor at Lima Technical College. He was absolutely my favorite. He made the material understandable and fun!

Mr Dudley was my anatomy and science teacher at Lima Tech. He was an amazing instructor,I learned mush of my nursing sciences from him. RIP,Mr Dudley.

I graduated from Lima Tech in 1974 and have worked as a nurse in Lima for 48 years. Mr. Dudley was the best. Everyone loved him. He made class so much fun!! May he Rest In Peace. My sympathy to his family.
