To the Roberts family,
I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Jane. She was an incredible human being that I had the great pleasure of knowing while working at Beaumont Commons. She fought incredibly hard during her battle of Alzheimer's. I will never forget the beautiful stories I heard from Steve (Mr. Roberts), about Jane, and about the wonderful time they spent together on this earth. It was a beautiful thing to witness the smile on her face when Steve came to visit her. May Jane rest in the loving arms of our Father as her time on this earth closes, and her new life begins in heaven.

The Roberts family moved across the street from my childhood home just at the time I reached babysitting age. Many nights were spent at their home looking after Paul, Frank, Joan and David. I didn't realize it then, but thru the years Jane became a role model for me. Her friendly disposition, her love of children, her devotion to family, her time working at Greenfield Village, were all things she did that became part of who I am today. As an adult with a young family I moved down the street and would bring my kids to see her and still today I have the nicest homemade Halloween clown costumes that Jane gave me for my little ones that she had made for hers. After moving away from the neighborhood, Jane's detailed Christmas card message kept me connected to her life and her growing family's adventures. I always looked forward to it, and knew she appreciated hearing about my family. The memories of Jane will always bring a smile to my face, as big as the one that graced hers. She was a beautiful woman that lived well and made a difference in my life and so many others. Love to the entire Roberts family.
