LIMA -- Jeffrey Radebaugh, 58, passed away on January 26, 2025, at Mercy Health St. Rita's Medical Center after a long and courageous fight with cancer.
Jeff was born on June 16, 1966, in Lima, Ohio to Charles and Carol (Sheeley) Radebaugh.
Jeff was a 1984 graduate of Elida High School. He then graduated from Ohio State University with an Elementary Education degree. Jeff was a substitute teacher in Putnam County, worked with the Boy Scouts in a regional position, and worked at Walgreens. Music was also a big part of his life. He played guitar and the Dulcimer. He would travel around to Dulcimer festivals to play. Jeff also had a very strong faith in Jesus Christ.
He is survived by his siblings, Mike (Tammy) Radebaugh of New Mexico, Nick (Kathy) Radebaugh of Elida, Kim (Mike) Shrider of Elida, and Chris (Lisa) Radebaugh of Elida; and many nieces, nephews, and good friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and a brother Scott Radebaugh.
The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Friday, February 7, 2025, at New Hope Christian Center, 2240 Baty Road, Lima, Ohio. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. Pastor Jim Menke will officiate. Private burial will be at Pike Run Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's.
