Jerri was, for many years, a wonderful neighbor and friend to my parents, grandma, and then to my husband, our 3 kids and me. We are very sad for her 3 kids and 4 grandkids.

I have known Jerri for many, many years. She was in my sister's 1965 class and I was in Jackie's 1968 class. I remember having a fun time at Jackie's birthday party , I think 7th grade. Jerry and I reminisced about our Shawnee years when we taught together in Lima schools. She was always a caring person.

I first met Jerri when I was hired into Lima City Schools. We worked together as co-workers and then on the union board. Jerri's laugh was so genuine and unique that I can still close my eyes and hear it. She's up there in Heaven organizing all the retired teachers. Miriam Rader-Downing
