Suddenly and unexpectedly in hospital, Sunday, September 14, 2014 at the age of 14. Cherished daughter of Ana and Mark Harrington. Loving sister of Travis. Special granddaughter of Terrencia Patao. Jocelyn will be fondly remembered by her many aunts, uncles, cousins and her wide circle of friends. She was predeceased by her grandparents James and Monica Harrington of Killaloe, ON and Victoriano Pateo of the Philippines. Friends may pay respects at the

Thursday, September 18, 2014 from 1 to 5 and 6 to 10 p.m. Funeral Friday, September 19, 2014 to Holy Redeemer Church, 44 Rothesay Dr., Kanata for Mass of Christian Funeral at 11 a.m. Interment to follow. In memoriam donations to D.I.F.D. at the Royal Ottawa Foundation for Mental Health appreciated. Condolences and sharing memories can be made at www.kellyfh.ca

Dear Harrington family,
Jocelyn and i weren't that close but we often talked in the halls. She always called me Matteo's cause my name is Mateo and we'd laugh to it. She was awesome and someone i really admire as a person. Im so sorry for your loss.

I'm so sorry this happened. Joy used to be one of my good friends, this still doesn't feel like it happened, I miss her. It's hard, but we can get through this together. My grievings to Ana, Mark and Travis. Your daughter/sister will be missed, I hope we can stay neighbours and my parents and I will help with whatever we can.

I first met Jocelyn when she brought Travis in on his first day of Grade 1. She was the best kind of big sister. She was a very caring and lovely young lady. She will be sorely missed. I am sending my thoughts and prayers to her family and friends.
