JOHN WALL
LIMA — John T. Wall Sr., 66, passed away at 11:11 PM on Thursday, June 16, 2016, at James Cancer Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
John was born on Saturday, June 25, 1949, in East St. Louis, Illinois, to the late Warren Charles and Loretta Mae (Brown) Wall, Sr. On Friday, June 14, 1985, he married Doris "Dee" E. Hooks, who survives in Lima.
John loved woodworking and fishing. He served as a Scout Master for many years.
He is survived by: daughter, Deborah Kaye (James) Earl; son, John Thomas (Christina) Wall, Jr.; daughters, Kimberly Ann Wall and Kerrie Lynn Wall; step children, Cathy Lynn (Gary) Smith, Bambi Lynn (Tom) Naftzger, Tonya Lynn (Hans) Hardgrove and Jim Allen Ray; twenty grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; brothers, Richard Lee (Cindy) Wall, Sr. and Carl Walker (Carol) Wall.
He is preceded in death by a brother, Warren Charles Wall, Jr.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 pm and from 6 to 8 pm on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio.
A funeral service will begin at 1pm on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home in Lima, Ohio. Rev. Terry Brock will officiate. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima, Ohio.
