One of my childhood best friends along with Mitch and Tom. I just sent him a postcard a few weeks ago. I will always love the brother. We worked together for his uncles at the Alpine Village as kids. We used to shoot pool after hours at a certain corner nightclub, we worked together at Little Ceasers, travelled to many concerts, bowled, sang Sloop John B together, laughed and laughed. Argued about politics, had so much fun. I have missed him, will always miss him. JDM

Dear Kay and John, I am so sorry to read of the loss of your son. We think it isn't right to lose our children but the Lord sometimes has other plans. May God give you peace and comfort as you face the days ahead. Betty Edwards

For the past several years, the best part of my day has been walking into the office and being greeted by Joe's smile. It didn't matter how early I came in; Joe was always there before me, and within the first 30 seconds of my arrival he would ask, "What can I do for you today?" He had a way of knowing what I needed before I knew I needed it. Joe treated every person in the Firm with the same respect he treated me, and his good nature extended to everyone he encountered--building security, Mary the housekeeper, the Fed-Ex guy, you name it. He could be tough when he needed to be, but his friendliness and good nature were usually enough to win people over. I will never be able to walk into the office again without thinking of Joe. He was my friend, and I will miss him.
Semper Fi, brother, until I see you again in Valhalla.
