Mr. Edwards was a trucker for more than 45 years. For 27 years, he and his son were co-owners of D&K Unlimited. He enjoyed his family, trucks, his 1931 Ford Coupe, gardening and working in his yard, and he truly enjoyed his dog, Sassy. He took much pride in his Welsh heritage.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Kent "Bud" and Tim Edwards.
Services will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Harter & Schier Memorial Chapel. The Rev. Jody Harr will officiate. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Instead of flowers, Mr. Edwards requested that all donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital and to love your family and friends more and forgive your enemies.

I did not know you, but I can know you through Don. Others who did not know you will also know you through stories shared from your family and friends, and in that sense your memory lives on and you will never cease from being...One observation I've made is that of a legacy which you leave to your family and friends; and that is one of being compassionate, loving, and understanding of one another. These, your contributions, will make the world a better place. In the final analysis, what this means is that you left this world a better place then when you entered it.....Thank You!
