Kyle Shipley Obituary

LIMA — Kyle Robert Shipley, age 36, of Lima passed away Saturday, July 24, 2021. He was born May 4, 1985 in Woodstock, IL to Charles R. and Mona P. (Minik) Shipley who survive in Lima.

Kyle had worked for Maplewood and Northwood Apartments doing maintenance. He was an avid fisherman and loved to target shoot guns.

He had participated in 4H doing rabbits, dogs and hunter safety.

Additional survivors include: a daughter, Amelia Elizabeth Rose Shipley, and a son, Oliver Robert Shipley, both of Delphos; a sister, Aimee Shipley (Daniel Lumpkins); a nephew, Dylan Shipley; a niece, Kendra Kaye; and a best friend, Billy Cotterman, all of Lima.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, August 28 at Ottawa Metro Park on Route 81, Lima, in the Wyandot Pavillion from Noon to 4 P.M.

Donations may be made to his parents to help defray costs.
