LIMA -- Louise Perry, 90, of Lima, passed away on August 28, 2022. She was born in Roundhead, Ohio on November 2, 1931, to the late Raymond and Betty (Shepard) Whitaker. In 1951, she married Herman Perry Sr.
Louise was an incredible wife, mom, grandma, great grandma, aunt, sister and friend. She loved her family and worked hard to give them a good life. Louise loved nature, gardening and when the temperature outside was 70 degrees and sunny. Gardening was one of the many ways she showed loved to those around her. Few things say "I love you," like a fresh garden tomato on a hot summer day or home-canned strawberry jam in the middle of the winter. Louise was a nurturer and lived for her family. She was smart, strong and her work ethic was admirable. Using her savvy business skills to develop real-estate, Louise was a force to be reckoned with.
Louise is survived by her children, Loyd Perry, Vivian (Bob) Myers, Deborah (Barry) Berlin; Grandchildren, Brandon (Karen) Berlin, Lindsey Berlin, Tyler (Lauren) Berlin, Bethany (Matt) Bass, Ben Perry, Ashley Perry, Melisa Myers and Ryan Myers; Great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Anna and Andrew Berlin, Scarlett Smithson and Emmit Bass; and her sisters, Barbara Malloy, Norma Hollar, Bonnie (Robert) Thomas and Connie Williams. She was proceeded in death by her husband, Herman Perry; son Daniel K Perry; brothers, John and Tennessee Whitaker and John and David Woodall; and a sister Lois (Joe) Compton.
