Margaret Wahlie Obituary
LIMA -- Margaret Ann Wahlie, age 84, passed away on December 3, 2024, at 10:05 am at Primrose Retirement Community of Lima.
Margaret was born on October 16, 1940 in West Branch, MI, to William "Fred" and Marion (Combes) Link who preceded her in death.
Margaret graduated from Ada High School in 1958. Margaret had many careers, all of which she excelled at, but she was most involved in doing clerical work for Innovative Logistics Concepts for over 17 years. Margaret was an avid reader and loved studying the Bible. She was often writing notes of encouragement for family and sharing her knowledge of the Lord and of life. She had a passion for supporting missions, and she cared deeply for those less fortunate worldwide. Margaret will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
She is survived by her son: David (Beth) Wahlie of Spencerville, OH, brother: Bill (Toni) Link, of El Cerrito, CA, grandsons: Jeremy (Brooke) Wahlie, Joshua Wahlie, Jonathon (Kirsten Wiandt) Wahlie, neice: Aria Link, nephew: Ian Link, and great-grandchildren: Maddie, Charlotte, and Mason.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Shawnee Chapel with Janet Wend to officiate the service. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery following the service. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Monday, December 9, 2024 at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Shawnee Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Cornerstone Church of Lima: 2000 N Cole St, Lima, OH 45801 or The Gideons International: P.O. Box 140800, Nashville, TN 37214-0800.
