WAPAKONETA -- Judge Marion Hollon, 84 of Wapakoneta, passed away November 14, 2022, at Mercy Health - St. Rita's Medical Center, with his loving family by his side. Judge was born November 10, 1938 in Eastern Kentucky to Dewey and Goldie (Elkins) Hollon, who preceded him in death. In May 1974, he married Jane (Burkholder) Hollon, who survives him in Wapakoneta. Judge attended McGuffey High School and was a proud United States Army Veteran. He managed various service stations for Speedway and Super America LLC in the Maryland and Lima areas for 40 years. Judge was a member of Full Gospel Tabernacle Church in Lima and attended Harvest Baptist Church in Wapakoneta. He enjoyed fishing, boating, hunting and camping. Judge was a proud member of the Gold Wing Association and he was a talented carpenter who enjoyed working with his hands. He was a resident of Wapakoneta Manor for about a year and a half and was an avid sports fan; he especially liked the Ohio State Buckeyes. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids. In addition to his wife of 48 years, he is survived by his children, Rachel (Nathan) Kaser of Wapakoneta, Jeffrey (Reda) Hollon of Littleton, NC and Denise (Thomas) Johnson of Mt. Airy, MD; 10 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brothers, Charles (Ruth) Hollon and Billy "Bill" Hollon; sister, Martha (Mike) Gross and his sister- in - law, Betty Hollon. In addition to his parents, Judge is preceded in death by his brother, James L. Hollon. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, November 21, 2022 at Harvest Baptist Church, 1301 Navajo Trail, Wapakoneta, OH 45895, with Rev. Gary Bragg to officiate the service. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Sunday, November 20, 2022 at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Shawnee Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Harvest Baptist Church. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.chiles-lamanfh.com.
