Melissa Pellegrini Obituary
LIMA -- Melissa "Missi" Dawn Pellegrini, age 52 of Lima, went home peacefully, Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at 7:45 a.m. surrounded by her loving family.
Missi was born June 25, 1970 in Columbus, to Terry and Linda (Hanes) Boop who survive in Spencerville. On July 17, 2010 she married Ralph "Rick" Pellegrini who survives.
Also surviving are her daughter, Brittani (Jon) Cherise Stec of Asheville, NC, sister, Stephanie (Nick) Cherise Gnau of Northville, MI, brother, Christopher Trent (Jessica) Boop of Spencerville, grandsons, Jacob and James Stec, and nieces and nephews, Lauren, Taylor, Jaelyn, Ashlee, A.J. and Eli. Also surviving is the father of her children, Bryan Daily of Shawnee.
She was preceded in death by a son, Brendan L. Daily.
Missi was a 1988 graduate of Elida High School and a graduate of U.N.O.H. as a medical assistant. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. She was employed at W.I.C. and was a photographer for Picture Perfect Babies, taking newborn photos at Lima Memorial. She was an avid painter and taught painting classes, enjoyed making jewelry and loved her grandsons beyond measure. She had a smile that lit up the room and was often the life of the party. She was the most caring, selfless person you could imagine. Missi was an amazing mother, grandma, daughter, sister and friend. May her loving spirit live on in all of us.
Services will begin Saturday, March 11, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at the Eastside Chapel of Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, with Pastors Dan Gutman and Sam Payne to officiate the service. Burial will follow in Spencerville Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday, from 2-4, and 6-8 p.m. in the Eastside Chapel of Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services.
Memorial contributions may be made to Make-A-Wish.

Missi.... She took my twin girls newborn pictures who are now 9 almost 10 ...she was so proud and caring ...she loved people and from there I learned of her son Brendan who fought a long hard battle , Missi was soooo strong and had a spirit to touch and give effortlessly love and a kind heart ...to the Boop family and friendsI´m very sorry for your loss. Missi was a wonderful woman .
