RAY LIPPS
LIMA — Ray "Butch" L. Lipps, age 59 of Lima, died at 11:50 p.m., Monday, August 4, 2014 at his residence from an extended illness. He was born October 10, 1954 in Lima, Ohio to the late Raymond LeRoy and Florence Victoria Adams Lipps.
Butch had worked as an electrician with Jesse Reese & Son Calvin Construction and had been a tool and die maker. His hobbies included fishing, working on cars, and boating.
Mr. Lipps was an U.S. Air Force Vietnam Veteran serving in Thailand from January 26, 1972 to October 13, 1975.
He is survived by a sister – Denice A. Lipps of Lima; two brothers – Ronald (Nancy) Bolender of Eaton, OH; Lawrence DeLong of Kansas; and his best four legged friend, Leah.
A brother, Glen Bolender proceeded him in death.
Graveside services will begin at noon, Saturday, August 9, 2014 in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima. Chaplain Dick Coon will officiate. Military rites will be observed by V.F.W. Post 1275 of Lima.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Allen County Humane Society.

U were one of the realest peeps along w ur sis at the bird club that I knew. U alwaz warned/ lectured to me enjoy life caus u never know when its gonna end. What u shared w me bout u and urs is precious. Gonna miss U Ray :) luv ur face madly and sooooo miss u already:):)
