Rhoda BLUMER Obituary
Surrounded by love, at her home, on Saturday, November 29, 2014. Beloved wife of Jack for sixty-two years. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Donald, Steve and Rosanne, Ian and Heather, and Lorne Blumer. Cherished grandmother of Serenity and Daryck, Jeff and Erin, Leslie, Kira and Steven, Brian, Benjamin, Nathaniel, Michael, Chloe and Gabrielle, and Kyle. Proud great- grandmother of Shiloh, Isaiah, and Talia. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Stanley and Ruth Diamond, the late Arthur and the late Sheila Diamond, the late Shirley (Sher-lee) Gordon; and sister-in-law of Cy and Marsha and the late Roslyn Blumer. Rhoda will be deeply missed by all who had the great fortune to have known her. Special thanks to Dalvis, Cynthia, Pearlette and Jonatha for their love and caring, as well as to Dr. Elise Levinoff, Donna Joy Edwards and Chris Hassain. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Monday, December 1 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at the Temple Emanu-El- Beth Sholom Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield. Shiva private, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. through Wednesday evening. Donations in her memory may be made to the Geriatrics Department c/o Jewish General Hospital Foundation, (514) 340-8251.
