Fond memories of Roy when I worked across the hall for Dr. Biggs. Roy had a big heart, oh the stories that he could tell! Sorry for your loss.

My condolences to Roy's family. Back in 1984 he announced my engagement on one of his visits to Easter Straker's program.
He had told me to watch so I taped the segment and still watch it regularly with friends and family. We were bowling buds and good friends. Roy will be fondly remembered. God Bless.

I had admiration for Roy. I worked at University Opticians while I was attending UT and had the pleasure of knowing Roy and Brian fitting artificial eyes. He was a wonderful, caring man and I feel honored to have our paths crossed. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Chris, I always respected your father and for the things he stood for. He helped Ohio opticians gain licensure in this State, and may he now rest in peace.

Roy was my mentor and I became an optician in the real world because of him! Optical school gave me basic knowledge but Roy taught me people skills. I loved him and will NEVER forget him! Absent from the body, present with the LORD. May the comfort of God surround your family at this time.

Your Father was very dear to me growing up. I was a patient of his for many years. He will remain in my fondest of memories, & his crystal blue eyes that twinkled when he smiled, lighting up his face. My thoughts are with you all, especially Stephanie who was a former classmate.

This man fit many pairs of glasses on my face. Started wearing them at 18 months and never ever had sore ears or nose from poor fit. They don't make opticians like him anymore. RIP Mr. Miller

Stephanie, so sorry for your loss. The couple times I met your Dad, he was always smiling. If he had been a politician or car salesman, I would've been highly suspicious. Deepest sympathy, Tom.
