Uncle Tom was an amazingly loving family man! He was always concerned with his wife's and daughters' welfares, and they were his world. He will be sadly missed in this life, by many friends and family members. Thank God he does not have to suffer any longer, though. He was so strong and brave through everything. When we wanted to make sure he was okay, or said we'd keep visiting him while he was ill, his main concern was that we took care of our own family first! He said "that is where your responsibility lies." Thank you, Uncle Tom, for your wisdom and self-lessness. We will always love you. xoxoxo Missy, Keith, Geno & Kellen

Dear Helen, Taryn & Erin:
I am sorry that I cannot be with you for Saturday's service and tribute to Tom.
I greatly enjoyed each time he & I got together in recent years. Visiting with all of you last month helped me to accept what he had already accepted with such courage and grace. He found his vocation in loving you. He'll always be Jake to me.
