LIMA -- William Singer, 63, passed away at 8:51 p.m. on February 21, 2023, at St. Rita's Medical Center.
William was born on June 13, 1959 in Lima, Ohio, to John H. and Agnes C. Singer II. On September 15, 2000 he married Theresa Singer, who survives in Lima.
William was a bass player. The Entertainer Newspaper declared William as one of the top two bass players in the Lima area. He loved his motorcycle and always was a part of the toy run, and rode with a group for many years. He loved his wife, daughters, sons-in-law, and family most of all.
Along with his wife, he is survived by his daughters: Paula (Doug) Bogle, Bobie Joe Pruett, Amber (Corey) Contreraz, and Jenny (Jake Perrine) Singer; 17 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and siblings: Ed (Pricilla) Singer, John (Patty) Singer, Rob (Barb) Singer, Tom (Deb) Singer, and Kathy (Bob) Stager.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Nicole Annette Sprague; and a great-grandson, Luke Bogle.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. on Monday, February 27, 2023 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, Ohio. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family for funeral expenses.

I went to school with Bill at St. Gerard's for eight years. We had a lot of fun, getting in trouble with Sister Eli and sharing off-color jokes on the playground. He also got me listening to real rock music even back in 6th grade! Wish I had the opportunity to listen to him play.
