Audrey Stevens Obituary

Audrey June Stevens, 90, of West Chester Ohio passed away peacefully on the morning of December 27th, 2024, leaving a void her family cannot fill. Audrey was the beloved mother of 3 children. Lorna (Michael) Sherman, Lisa (Brian) Feldmann, and Leonard Stevens. Audrey was born in Jeannette, PA in 1933 to Walter and Hermine Zellers. Her first language was French which she primarily spoke until the age of 5. Audrey attended Jeannette High School and later attended Penn State University. Audrey was a devoted mother to her 3 children and a devoted grandmother to her 7 grandchildren; Jeremiah, Josiah and Jael Rivizzino, Jillian Sherman, Mitch Feldmann, and Danielle and Christopher Stevens. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. She always said their birth changed her life for the better, and they felt that in the love and support she provided. Audrey took special joy in making clothing and knitting in her younger years. She was also very active in support and volunteer groups with the Ft Hamilton Hospital in Hamilton, Ohio. Audrey enjoyed attending sports with her 3 children, specifically, swimming and diving. She was also a active in political advocate and volunteer. Audrey was preceded in death by her parents; Walter and Hermine Zellers, and is survived by her 3 children, 7 grandchildren and many friends who will never forget the love she brought to their lives.
