Roy Flenniken Obituary

FLENNIKEN, Roy Joseph, 70, of Lakeside Park, KY, passed away July 22, 2024 at home. Born in Covington, KY on June 4, 1954 he was a 4th degree Knight of Columbus, was known as a Kentucky Colonel and enjoyed traveling, hiking in the National Parks and especially loved his sports teams; UK basketball and the Cincinnati Bengals. Roy worked in operations for 46 years at Federated Department Stores and at Amazon.com. He was a graduate of Covington Catholic High School and attended Northern Kentucky University. He was a loving son and brother and always put his family first. He was preceded in death by his parents; Roy B. and Marie Flenniken and cousin Jim Lea and is survived by his sister Laurie Flenniken, cousins Judie Lea, Jerry & Beth Lea and Mark & Paula Lea. Private services with a Mass of Christian Burial will be held with inurnment in Mother of God Cemetery. Memorial donations be can be made in loving memory of Roy to St. Elizabeth Hospice Care.
