Teresa Sester Obituary

It is with profound sadness we announce the heavenly transition of Teresa Sester, age 58, of West Chester, Ohio, who entered eternal rest on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, in West Chester, Ohio. She was born on Friday, May 6, 1966, in Hamilton, Ohio. Teresa Lynn Scalf-Sester, age 58, passed away peacefully in her home in West Chester, Ohio, on February 19, 2025. Born on May 6, 1966, in Hamilton, Ohio, Teresa lived a life rich in love, faith, and devotion to her family and friends. As a devoted wife for 13 wonderful years, Teresa shared a deep and abiding bond with her husband, William "Butch" Sester. Their life together was filled with laughter, joy, and an unwavering commitment to one another. Teresa's love extended beautifully to her role as a stepmother, where she cherished her children-Jessica Sester-Miller and her spouse Marcus Miller, and Joshua Oakley and his spouse Britney Oakley. She held the memory of her late oldest son, Jason Oakley, close to her heart, honoring his spirit and the love they shared. Teresa was a proud grandmother to twelve grandchildren, who brought her endless joy and inspiration. Her presence in their lives was a source of warmth, wisdom, and unconditional love. A beloved sister to Sharon Scalf-Stephens and her spouse Doyle and Carol Scalf-Bayersdorfer and her spouse Mike, Teresa's kindness and warmth extended to numerous nieces, nephews, and family members. Her cherished sister, Lora Scalf-Lathery, and her parents, Dora and Carl Scalf, preceded her in death. Faith was the cornerstone of Teresa's life. A devoted follower of Christ, she found purpose in sharing the Good News and offering spiritual encouragement to all around her. Her unwavering belief in God shaped her actions and left an indelible mark on the hearts of those fortunate enough to know her. Beyond her family and faith, Teresa's kindness knew no bounds. As a friend, a grandmother, and a confidante, her presence brought comfort and warmth to many lives. Her laughter and compassion were gifts that will be sorely missed. A wake in Teresa's honor will be held on March 9, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Princeton Crossing Clubhouse at 9130 Port Union Rialto Rd., West Chester, Ohio 45069. Those wishing to attend or seeking further information are encouraged to reach out to William "Butch" Sester or Jessica Sester-Miller. Teresa's memory will continue to inspire, comfort, and uplift all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of love, faith, and kindness will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
