Tom O’Hara

1934 - 2023

Thomas Andrew O'Hara, 89, of Florence, KY passed away Sunday, October 29, 2023 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood, KY. Tom was born June 19, 1934 in Dayton, KY to the late Frank and Florence O'Hara. He was a devout Catholic and was a member of Mother of God Church in Covington, KY. Tom loved working on his farm driving his tractors. He especially liked spending time in the barn, watching his cows, and teaching his children essential life skills. He will be remembered most for his patience and understanding. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia O'Hara, and his siblings: Dorothy O'Hara, Frank O'Hara, and Robert O'Hara. Tom is survived by his loving children: Robert (Ann) O'Hara, Maureen O'Hara-Riehemann, Colleen Long, and Peggy O'Hara, his beloved grandchildren: Matthew Long, Patrick (Caroline) O'Hara, Grace (Ian) McIlvoy, William O'Hara, Luke (Christina) Riehemann, Seth (Tori) Riehemann, Sawyer Doeg and Noah Doeg, and his dear great-grandchildren: Grace and Conor O'Hara. A visitation will be held for Tom on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Mother of God Church, 119 West 6th Street, Covington, KY 41011. Mass of Christian Burial will be held following the visitation at 12:05 PM at the Church. Tom will be laid to rest at Mother of God Cemetery in Latonia, KY following the Mass.
