Charlene Kay Warren, age 84, a resident of Brookfield, MO, passed away on Friday, March 27, 2026 at her home. She was born the daughter of Charles Buford and Addie Lee (McGuire) Broyles on December 5, 1941 in Pomona, CA. She was a 1959 graduate of Laredo High School, Laredo, MO. She was united in marriage to Larry Duwain Warren on December 10, 1960. He survives of the home.
Charlene was a respiratory therapist at Pershing Memorial Hospital, Brookfield, MO for several years. She loved reading and crocheting, but most of all, she loved her family and following her grandchildren and great grandchildren's sporting events.
She is survived by her husband, Larry of the home; son, Brett Warren of Gladstone, MO; daughters, Candi Gray (Steve) of Browning, MO, and Natalie Conard (Jerry Brinkley) of Linneus, MO; nine grandchildren, Cody Warren (Carmen), Trever Warren, Skyler Gray, Cammie Burbank (Matt), Kyle Ward, Trent Gray (Lainey), Kade Ward (Avery), Blake Conard, and Cassi Conard; and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Connie Cowhick.
A memorial service will be held at Lindley Funeral Home, Laredo, MO on Friday, April 3, 2026 at 11 a.m. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Rural Dale Cemetery and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, MO 64601.
