My deepest sympathies to the family. John was an extraordinary man. He was always smiling, kind and dear. He spoke so lovingly of his family every time I saw him. Hearing of his passing is saddening. The community lost a great man and the heavens have gained a wonderful angel. My prayers are with the family for healing their hearts.

John or Johnny to those who know John from his twenties (or earlier?)...he had a great punny, sense of humor. He encouraged us all to be playful and fun with each other. Albion stories of John initiating concerts and theme social events for all to gather and create networks, a social specialist, a very generous, kind man. Connie and John have provided love and support and knowing them raise Zack and Anna, in Michigan form, was a combined amazing gift to their children. John’s bond to us all is his greatest gift, a man centered by God.
In loving memory,
Goudy

John was one of the truly fine men I have had the privilege of knowing. He was kind, soft spoken, generous and loving. I have been praying not only for John, but also for my dear friend Connie and their children. Having lost my own father when I was young I truly understand their pain and suffering.
I pray that the peace and love of our Lord, Jesus heal the wound in your hearts. Please know John’s spirit will always remain alive in each one of you and you.
