Eduardo Perez Obituary

EDUARDO PEREZ JR.
Eduardo Perez, Jr., 47, joined our Lord in His heavenly kingdom on Thursday, June 19, 2025.
Eduardo Perez, Jr. was a loving, funny, and selfless man who brought joy to everyone around him. Born in Alice, Texas, and raised in Laredo, Texas, he was a proud graduate of the J.W. Nixon High School class of 1996. Shortly after graduation, Eduardo enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps, proudly serving from June 1996 to June 2000. His time in the military shaped his character, instilling in him a sense of duty, discipline, and loyalty that he carried throughout his life.
He adored his family, especially his nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews, always showering them with love and laughter. A dedicated and hardworking man, Eduardo took pride in everything he did and never hesitated to lend a hand. Known as the life of the party, he had a passion for dancing, karaoke, and making people laugh with his endless jokes. A true history and movie buff, he seemed to know every artist, song, and film by heart. A die-hard Astros and Dallas Cowboys fan with a generous spirit, Eduardo leaves behind a legacy of warmth, humor, and unforgettable memories.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Emilia and Jesus Treviño; his paternal grandparents, Santos Rosas, and Eloy Perez, Sr.; his aunt, Irma Alaniz; his uncle Enrique Perez.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Eduardo and Hilda Perez, Sr.; his siblings, Roxanne (Mark) Santos, Edmundo (Celina Guevara) Perez; his nieces and nephews, Tiffani (Pablo) Barron, Michael Santos, Alex Perez, Devin Perez, RJ Sosa, and Sabrina Contreras; his great nieces and great nephews, Jason Obregon, Logan Barron, Victor Barron, Anastacia Barron, and Juliette Jimenez Perez, Izaiah Perez; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, other relatives, and friends.
The family will be receiving condolences on Wednesday evening, June 25, 2025 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd.; where a Prayer Service will commence at 7 p.m.

Military Honors will be provided by the U.S. Marine Corps and by the Laredo Veterans Honor Guard.
