Eulalia Alvarez Obituary
She joined the presence of Jesus on November 4, 2023.
She is preceded in death by Mr. and Mrs. Santiago and Eulalia Alvarez, parents, and a brother, Mr. Santiago Alvarez Jr.
She is survived by sisters Margarita Guajardo and family; Angelita Gutierrez and family; Dalia Menchaca and family, sister-in-law Berta Alvarez and family; and brother Raimundo and Jan Alvarez and family and numerous nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
Eulalia graduated from Martin High School in 1956 then from Texas A&M in Kingsville, Texas, in 1960 with a Bachelor of Arts in Education. Eulalia was a teacher for 44 years in Laredo at Farias and Santa Maria Elementary and added four more years of substituting after retirement to the love of her profession.
Ms Alvarez will be remembered by her former students, friends and family for her kindness, love and caring.
Eulalia will be cremated at Chapel Hill Funeral Home in San Antonio, Texas.
A mass and rosary will be held in the Chapel of Chapel Hill Funeral Home on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at 10:00 am.
