JOSE MORALES Obituary
Pepe was a master gardener who found happiness in music, his classic car, nature, and his family. Born on August 24, 1954 in Urbana, Ohio, Pepe's parents, Manuel and Francisca Morales promptly returned to their beloved Laredo, where Pepe spent his lifetime. A graduate of Martin High School class of 1972, Pepe was a star athlete playing football and voted Most Handsome. Pepe collected seeds and dispersed the bounty of nature throughout Laredo, planting trees wherever he would go, and sharing trees and plants with others. He loved being under the sun and in nature. He deeply loved his four daughters.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Manuel and Francisca Morales, and brothers, Manuel Jr. (Adriana+), Gilberto, Alfonso (Lucille), and Eduardo and (Berta+) Morales.
Family left to cherish his memory are his four daughters, Linda (Oscar) Esquibel, Michelle (Matthew) Perman, Kelly Morales, and Jennifer (Luis) Muñoz, 11 grandchildren, and his siblings, Magdalena (Francisco) Pedraza, Rosario (Ricardo) Barraza, Francisca (Ramiro) Ramirez, Minerva (Marcos+) Barajas, Juanita (Deveda Riley) Morales, sister in law, Judy Morales.
The family will be receiving guests on Monday, December 2, 2024, in the Angelus Chapel at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, where a prayer service will be recited at 7:00 pm.
