Albert Breitmaier Obituary
He was born in Bismarck, ND, moved to Sultan, WA at age 7 then to Galt, CA at the age of 20.
Abe began working in construction in 1948 and formed ABEE Construction in 1968 which he owned and operated until his retirement in 1992.
He lived in Galt, CA for 63 years before moving to his current home in Idaho. Abe was an avid outdoorsman and the steward of his family. He was affectionately known as "Pa" by his grandchildren and the countless hearts he touched in his life.
Abe was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Maria Breitmaier; brothers, Willie and Victor Breitmaier.
Abe is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Elizabeth "Betty" Breitmaier; siblings, Emelia Gohl and Emil Breitmaier; children: Cindy (Gary) Hopkins, Vicki (Vanny) Dye, and Russ (Candy) Breitmaier. Abe is also leaving his grandchildren: Michael (Elizabeth) Hopkins, Matthew (Megan) Hopkins, Jeremy (Jenelle) Dye, Elizabeth (Elias) Khoury, Jenny Breitmaier, Justin (Richelin) Dye, Jill Breitmaier and Greg Breitmaier; and great-grandchildren: Amy Hopkins, Seth Dye and Lexi Khoury.
Family and friends are invited to attend a viewing at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, March 14th with a memorial service at 4:00 p.m. at the Galt Seventh-day Adventist Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Lodi Educational Endowment Foundation, 1210 West Century Blvd., Box 26, Lodi, CA 95240; or Galt Adventist Christian School, 619 Myrtle Avenue, Galt, CA 95632; or charity of choice.

Dear Friends,
We were so sorry to hear about Abe’s passing. It is always hard to say good-bye to people you love. It makes it even harder when they pass away unexpectedly.
Our memories of Abe are many. Jim used to tease Abe about being a hard taskmaster but he always appreciated the fact that Abe gave him work so that he could earn part of his tuition. Part of our memories go back to the hay-rides and corn on the cob and watermelon feeds in the fall. Abe was always so positive and light-hearted. We enjoyed being around him.
May God comfort you at this time. Know that we are thinking of you and praying for you.

Hi Betty and Family,
I am so sorry to hear about Uncle Abe and his passing. He was one of my favorite people growing up in Galt. He always took the time to listen and help in any way he could. I remember going up and down the sand dunes with him in the sandrails and jeep. He lived life to the fullest. Our thoughts and prayers our with you and your family.
