Mrs. Ernst was my history teacher ( junior year ) at what is now the Hutchins Street Square. She gave some fascinating details about history! I could tell she was a true teacher and she really cared for us. I have a funny memory about how one of my classmates escaped out the window while Mrs. Ernst was writing something on the board. She probably knew ;-) Yes, her dedication and sincerity was real !! May she rest in peace till our Jesus comes again and revives Mrs. Ernst to new !

Thank you Mrs Ernst for rescuing our rowdy classroom at Henderson school all those years ago. You came into our preteen lives and really shaped us up. You showed us strength and confidence in addition to knowledge. Remembering you always fondly.

Mrs. Ernst was my Homeroom Teacher for the basics classes in the early sixties. She was a great Mentor and an excellent teacher. She insisted that we had the ability to excel at our education and would also do well in our future life. She accepted no excuse for any other result. May she rest in peace knowing that the confidence she gave hundreds and hundreds of her students allowed us to be so successful.

What a wonderful educator. She was mine in the 8th grade so very, many years ago. She was an important mentor in my life, leaving me with many principles I have carried through life. RIP.

And, a dedicated volunteer at Lodi Memorial Hospital Gift Shop for many years. It was FUN catching up with her on days I was there. She was also a fabulous Teacher at Woodbridge Middle School! Peace be with you Mrs. Ernst!
