Barbara Spangler Obituary
A long time resident of Lodi, CA, Barbara was well known within her community as a fun loving, center of influence. She was caring and ready to assist those in need.
Barbara enjoyed staying active, being with family and working with others. She was an entrepreneur, who began her business career as a beautician, later as a dietician, restaurateur and bar owner.
Barbara is survived by her loving partner Bob Holmes, two children, seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services for a celebration of life will be announced at a future date for all interested family and friends.

Nonie was such a beautiful, energetic, fun-loving woman and I am so thankful that I got to know her as well as I did, through my best friend, Tiffany Harris. I know that Nonie will be missed SO MUCH by those that loved her. My second family are in my thoughts and prayers in this time. Love & Miss you, Nonie. <3

I´m so sorry for for the loss of this amazing woman. Tonight at 3:00 a.m I was suddenly thinking of Barbara and wondering how she was so I googled her and found out this sad news. I last saw her approximately 12 years ago. I use to go to her home every morning to exercise and she would fix me a bowl of oatmeal and a handful of vitamins . I lost more weight on her program than I ever have and I felt better than I had in years. She was an inspiration and a great help to me during a difficult time in my life. Barbara was very passionate about her program, staying in shape and about life and especially her family .she was collecting books on tape for her Grand Daughter who meant so much to her. Had I not moved out of state I am sure I would be in a better state today and I will be forever grateful that I was lucky enough to have met and worked with this very special lady who helped so many ...
