David Addington Obituary
David attended Lakewood Elementary, Woodbridge Middle School and graduated from Tokay High School as part of the class of 1987. He attended Century Assembly Church. As a small boy he was active in Indian Guides. When he was a teenager he spent most of his time with his youth group. As an adult, David enjoyed working with electronics. Computers, movies, and music were his passion.
David worked as a bar tender and enjoyed selling books on E-bay. But his greatest joy was when he was a DJ in San Francisco. David loved his family and friends. His sisters were his pride and joy.
David is survived by his parents, John & Bobbe Addington of Woodbridge; sisters, Kim (Eddy) McIntosh of Galveston, TX, Katie Addington of Lodi and Kellie (Jeff) Nathan of Fresno; three nephews Adam, Killian and Brenton, as well as his grandmother, Ruby Lehr. He also leaves behind his best friends, his dog P.J. and his cat Miss Kitty.
A celebration of his life will be held on Monday, October 24, 2011 at 1:00 pm at Temple Baptist Church 801 S. Lower Sacramento Rd. Lodi. Inurnment will be private in Lodi. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in David's name at Stockton Shelter for the Homeless, 411 S. Harrison St., Stockton CA 95203

David was my absolute best friend at Lakewood Elementary. I can still remember all the sleep overs and trips to buy candy at the local store in Woodbridge. He made me laugh. I am so glad that I had the chance to catch up with him on Facebook a few years ago. I am very sad to hear that he's gone. I know that he'll be greatly missed.
I'm so grateful for the joy he brought to me growing up.
