Donald Peirano Obituary
He was born on November 27, 1929 in Stockton to Adolph and Hazel (Gotelli) Peirano.
Don was a graduate of St. Mary's High School and attended University of California at Davis and College of the Pacific. He was a member of the California National Guard and retired after 20 years of service at the rank of Major.
He was a past member of Rizonia Fraternity, Elks Lodge, Oddfellows and Marina West Yacht Club.
Don, along with his father, started the Peirano Quaker House Furniture Store in Stockton which he continued for 25 years.
He was an avid hunter, fisherman, golfer, skier, tennis player, gourmet chef and woodworker. Since moving to Del Webb in Manteca five years ago, he started playing the ukulele and learned to build them.
He was preceded in death by his parents Adolph and Hazel Peirano and previous wife, Julie Peirano.
Don is survived by, his wife, Pat (Corda) Peirano and Step-daughters, Laura and Tricia Bender, cousins, Lorene Minetto, Bob Gotelli and many other relatives and friends.
A memorial mass will be celebrated on Friday, July 17th by Monsignor Larry McGovern at 11:00am at Church of the Presentation in Stockton. Arrangements are under the direction of the Donahue Funeral Home.

My dearest Pat and Family. I am sending you my sympathy during this time of sorrow. I will never forget Don bringing us our favorite fresh fruit and of course chocolate. He was such an amazing person with a big heart. Rest in peace Don.....
