Federico Sandoval Obituary
He was born in Yahualica, Jalisco on 9/13/1944 to Julio and Maria De La Paz Sandoval, the second of ten children. He left school at 17 to look for a better life, and finally found it in Stockton in 1964.
He married Carmen Vazquez in 1967 and spent 30 years together, they had three daughters: Araceli (Eduardo) Campos, Maricela Sandoval (formerly Espinoza), and Angelica (Frank) Marin.
Federico went on to marry Juana Salgado and had his last daughter Elizabeth Salgado Sandoval with her. He spent his last year as a sweet old man enjoying the single life with his daughters and seven grandchildren: Amaris, Alandra, Jazmin, Vicente, Sophia, Belén, and Israel.
Federico was a farm labor contractor and loved working with agriculture, was very active, and always found something that needed fixing.
He will be welcomed into heaven by his parents Julio and Maria De La Paz and his brothers Hector, Ruben, Javier, and Raul.
His visitation will take place on Thursday, 6/ 27/2024 starting at 5 p.m. there will be a Chapel Service on Thursday, 6/27/2024, at 6 p.m. at Collins Family Funeral Home
His Funeral Service will take place on Friday, 6/28/2024 at 10:30 a.m. at Collins Family Funeral home and he will be laid to rest at 12:30 p.m. at Cherokee Memorial Park.

Marci, Belen, Izzy and extended family: I am so sorry for your loss. May your many happy memories carry you through this heartbreaking time. I enjoyed seeing Federico visiting you at your home. He would always wave at me with a smile. Such a sweet sweet man. If you need ANYTHING, please ask. I wish you strength and peace in the difficult days ahead. Keep looking for those butterflies and humming birds!
