James Ohlhauser Obituary

James Patrick Ohlhauser, "JR" was born on October 16, 1978, in Lodi, CA.
James left us too soon on May 21, 2024.
James was loved and admired by his family, friends, and many customers throughout his years in retail for his passion, intelligence, and sense of humor.
James loved learning and had intense ideas about history and the world we now live in.
James grew up in Lodi and was always a character.  From taking off on his own before the age of five to Tony's Pizza to beat the older kids at video games (by pulling up a spool stool to stand on) in the early eighties, to his many adventures with his best friends and brothers, Edward 'Eddie' Stone and Robert 'Beto' Garcia and their tight-knit group of friends, to his years of working at Longs Drug Store on Lodi Avenue; being a favorite and friend of many in our community, especially his elderly customers who he took pride in caring for.
The outpouring of loving friends who have shared their memories and love for James has been a great comfort to his family.
James is survived by his parents, James and Bernadette, and his sisters, Lori Ayers (Ernie Ornelas) and Kelly Vandenburg,  his nephews, Eric (Claudia) Vandenburg, David Vandenburg, and Marcus Ohlhauser. Robert Garcia, Raul Garcia, and Edward Stone are recognized as brothers of his heart.
James loved his friends as he was loved in return.
