Dear Sakata Family,
Our family hurts and prays with you and for you during this difficult time. We always saw Jo Ann as such a great grandmother and commented about it a time or two while we still lived in Lodi. Her life touched more lives then any of us will ever realize. God Bless.

We send our love and prayers to Wally, Ross and Derek and the rest of JoAnn's family. We remember JoAnn coming into Westgate Pharmacy (now Raley's) many years ago with her two young sons ( Derek and Ross ). She seemed to be a gentle and good mom to them and when her two granddaughters were born ..... she was just as sweet and gentle. We will miss her tremendously! God be with you all in this hour of sadness. May His perfect peace fill your hearts with joy as we all look forward to Jesus second coming when we will all be reunited with our loved ones and friends! We pray this hope will always stay with you.
We love you

Grief is the price that life periodically extracts from those who live long and love deeply. When we lose a loved one or a very dear friend, or when we experience any other profound loss, darkness overwhelms us for a while, and it seems as if we cannot summon the strength to face another day-but, with God's help, we can. During times of heartache, we can turn to God, first for solace and then for renewal. When we do, He comforts us and, in time, He heals us.

Love is an attribute of God, and Joann is a person who really loved her family and friends and to love others is evidence of a genuine faith. She will be dearly missed.

I wish to express my deepest sympathies and sincerest condolences over your loss. You are in my thoughts and prayers. May the Lord be with you and comfort you during this difficult time.
Take comfort in knowing that when she awakes, the face of Jesus will be the first thing that she sees.

Sincerely,
--Jason
