Peggy Collins Obituary


PEGGY LYNN COLLINS was born in Logan County, West Virginia to Jesse Paul Collins and Dolly Louise Bias Collins. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Jesse Paul Collins Jr., and her beloved husband, Geoffrey Heath. Peggy is survived by Laura Collins, Margaret Thibodeaux, Eleanor Collins, Ray Hartzell, and Alysha Oxley. She loved dogs, sunsets, beaches, hiking, and camping in the mountains of her much-loved home of West Virginia. Peggy worked as an attorney in Charleston, WV, for many years and served on a committee advocating for parity for mental health coverage. Peggy was compassionate, empathetic, kind, practical, and generous with her time and resources. Peggy volunteered and contributed to the Kiwanis Club of Charleston, WV for several years. Peggy was a good woman. She will be missed.

So sad to see the last of that little family gone. I was her brother's best friend when we were kids up thru high school. Peggy was always quiet and dignified in her manner. Another Mill Creek "kid" gone from this generation. God Bless.
