William Conrad Obituary

William "Bill" O'Del Conrad, 74, of Logan, passed away at his home on Thursday, July 24, 2025. Bill was born on May 14, 1951, in Galion, Ohio, the son of the late Charley and Dorothy (Greter) Conrad. He was married for 27 years to Janet (Caldwell) Conrad, who survives.

After high school, Bill served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany during the Vietnam War. Bill retired from Pittsburgh Plate Glass in Crestline, Ohio after 30 years. Bill then owned and operated Jack's Steak House in Logan.

Bill is survived by his wife, Janet; daughter, Christine (Kyle) Stroup Moore of Logan; son, James Earl (Jessica) Stroup Jr. of New Lexington; grandchildren, Jayden, Jayce, Kenley, Camille, Gabriella, James, and Tyler; brother, Charles (Doris) Conrad of Galion; nephews, Cory and Jason; and great nephews, Ethan and Dillon.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents.

A celebration of Bill's life will be held at 6 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 4, 2025, at the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan. Friends may visit from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
