Carmella Addonizio 91, of Mt.Vernon, N.Y. died on May 18,2017 at her residence. She was born on March 13,1926 to the late Carl and Caroline (nee Covino) Addonizio in Mt.Vernon, N.Y. She was a retired Office Mgr. in the Radiology Dept. at Mt. Vernon Hospital from 1955-1996. Carmella loved to travel. She is survived by her sister in law, Annabelle Addonizio of Pleasantville, N.Y., her cousin, Dr. Richard Petrillo of Scarsdale, N.Y. also survived by her eight nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brother, Dr. Joseph Addonizio and her sister, Louise Barrella. Reposing, Hawthorne Funeral Home on Friday, today, 4-8 PM. Funeral Mass, Sts. Peter and Paul Church, Mt.Vernon, N.Y. on Saturday, 9:45 AM. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, New Rochelle, N.Y. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory can be made to Calvary Fund, 1740 Eastchester Road Bronx, N.Y. 10461 would be appreciated.
